“From our roots as a property developer we have evolved into an integrated real estate company with offices in Berlin, London and Luxembourg.”

Our spectrum reaches from developing residential properties, mainly micro-apartments, offices and hotels to developing entire city districts which can include revitalization and repositioning of existing properties as well as new builds. We currently manage an active development pipeline of 1,9 billion Euros. The fully invested Cresco Fund 1 (EUR 197 Mio. equity commitments) has been primarily invested in micro-apartment developments, which account for ca. EUR 0,4 billion of our current pipeline. The majority of projects are managed through separate account mandates in Luxembourg AIFs. Cresco Real Estate acts as a fund and investment manager for all investments and currently employs 56 people in its offices in Berlin, Luxembourg, and London.

We focus on realizing unique properties and operating concepts that address not only tenant needs, but also have lasting impacts on their respective cityscapes and cultures. As a full-service real estate company, we employ a holistic strategy and manage the entire life cycle of real estate. Our extensive track record and expertise in project development from creating concepts, obtaining planning permission and constructing, and the subsequent management and operating of many properties, accompany us in every project. Our deep understanding of lifestyle and market trends as well as our strong passion for architecture and design has driven us to realize extraordinary projects.

Project development with external operator

Cresco Real Estate was responsible for the development of the Soho House Group’s first flagship hotel. Located in a historic, listed building in the heart of the German capital Berlin, Soho House Berlin has become a landmark for design and lifestyle and is one of the most popular hotels and meeting places in the city.

Own operating platform and fund for micro-apartments

In 2014, Cresco founded its own operating platform for student accommodation and micro-apartments, in order to manage its differentiated properties in a sustainable and customer focused manner. We currently manage 1,350 student apartments under the Neon Wood brand and 200 micro-apartments under the Tannhaus brand. In addition, we are developing a further 670 units which will be completed until 2023.

Acquisition of a listed property and an operating company

Station Berlin is one of the most renowned event locations in Germany. Located less than a 5-minute walk from Potsdamer Platz and directly beside the popular Gleisdreieck Park, the former listed Postbahnhof (postal station) and its event management business were acquired by Cresco in 2019, in order to further develop the event business and the real estate. The company currently employs 19 people.
